We can investigate and promote system rationalisation & Optimisation e.g. Confirm that a Service Reservoir can be abandoned. We can confirm that pipe sizes have the correct carrying capacity to deliver statutory levels of service to customers.
We can undertake outline design for infrastructure capital schemes including large diameter trunk mains and all mains schemes. (Report to designer to include pipe sizes and bar ratings). We can make considerations and outline design for temporary rezoning and rider mains during scheme implementation.
We can iplement outline design of pressure management, district metering schemes and Water pumping station sizing and performance analysis.
We can accuratley target areas that require mains flushing to reduce discolouration within the system and have the ability to carry out water quality and age of water modelling to develop solutions to networks prone to bacteriological failures.
We always liaise with delivery and operations staff throughout projects.
Other types of assessment we can undertake are Environment assessment, e.g. energy efficiency, carbon footprint, Customer service, e.g. customer contacts and complaints analysis. Activity analysis, e.g. number of jobs undertaken, repeat jobs, alarms, out of hours work. Cost analysis e.g. cost of reactive and planned capex, operational and maintenance costs, intervention costs.
